Clock and day...again

OK…it seems like in the mornings, the clock and day are accurate. Then sometime during the day, instead of reading as today’s date, the posts say “yesterday” when they are actually for the current day.

This has been happening since Thursday…every day…same thing. Mornings are fine. Evenings are not…say "yesterday "

ETA…the time stamp for this says "yesterday 8:49 p.m. But it’s NOT yesterday! It’s today!!

Yes, I am seeing the same thing!

Time and date are correct this morning (Monday). But they have been correct in the morning for five days. It’s the evening when the date switches to “yesterday”…but it’s not!

Since I doubt a time travel plugin was accidentally installed, we’ll get this corrected. Thanks for reporting!

Anything is possible Justin! Aliens, perhaps?

Here we go again…it now says yesterday…again. But really it’s still Monday and that is TODAY.

And just FYI…post two which was posted TODAY, and was correctly dated this morning…now also says “yesterday”

Ok…so it’s Tuesday morning and the time stamp is just fine…again. Wonder if it will reset to YESTERDAY again this evening…and wonder when that is actually happening?

I thought I had some kind of virus at first. Phew!

Thumper - it seems to be doing exactly that.

I just posted (8:25 pm 7/15) and it shows as ‘yesterday at 8:25pm.’

Testing…

OK, that’s just weird.

We looked into this and discovered it’s an issue with the time stamp logic and how it calculates time zones against GMT. We’re aiming to have a fix in place next week.

Thanks for checking. It’s really odd. I wonder when it reset to YESTERDAY? It was fine this afternoon.

No worries, it’s definitely an odd issue. It most likely changes at 8pm EST, since that translates to midnight GMT.

And yet the problem persists . . .

Justin, are they still working on this?

I keep forgetting about this “glitch” and I’ve not posted in quite a few threads because I see that the last post was “yesterday” and people have probably moved on. In reality, they just posted like 10 minutes ago and it’s an on-going, live discussion.

Can we please fix this? It’s been almost a month

Sorry folks…let me see if @CCadmin_Justin‌ has an update on this one.

Yes, sorry for the delay in getting this fix in place. The vendor is working on it currently, along with an issue we’ve seen with reporting posts in threads with long titles. Both fixes are scheduled for deployment on Thursday next week.

Justin…sorry to say…your vendor is incompetent.

This was NOT an issue until about a month ago. Apparently in fixing something else, your vendor botched up the time/date.

Is CC trying to do anything about the very lackadaisical attitude about this forum, and the need to fix things in a TIMELY fashion?
