Clubs/Student Organizations

<p>For someone going into econ, poli sci, intl develop related areas, can you suggest any good clubs to participate in?</p>

<p>How difficult is it to manage a club or two, a 3.7+ gpa, play an intramural/lift weights, and have a social life?</p>

<p>I’m looking at the same majors you are, and I’m definitely hoping to continue from high school with model un and/or debate. </p>

<p>I don’t think though that you should chose clubs based just on your major. Do what you like to do, the same things you liked to do in high school?</p>

<p>thanks for pointing those out. what I didn’t do a lot of in high school was entrepreneurship/econ related competitions/organizations.</p>

<p>What does McGill offer in terms of these?</p>

<p>Also, do a lot of kids participate in many clubs or is it principally one or two? For grad school and fellowship applications, is it necessary to have leadership in many clubs?</p>
