A couple of people have mentioned how the clubs I do aren’t really focused on one thing and that it seems like a laundry list. I was looking for opinions on which clubs I should really focus on and which I should quit. I’m planning on studying business or law. This is what I’m doing right now:
Business professionals of America
Junior State of America (debate)
Youth and Government (mock trials)
Science Olympiad
Model UN
UNICEF
Quit Science Olympiad (unless you really love it) keep the rest
There is nothing wrong with your list. Do the things you like, and do them as well as you can.
Your list looks fine, do what you enjoy the most.
Maybe quit UNICEF and Science Olympiad
To quote my little brother, who’s quoting something else:
“Do what you want 'cause a pirate is free,
You are a pirate!”
It’s fine to have several interests. Do what you enjoy.
It does not matter. If you need to drop something have it be science olympiad because it is neiyher very “out of the box” nor related to your intended major.
First of all, you don’t have to list everything you do. Second, do what you enjoy and find meaningful. Don’t participate in any EC for the sake of its appearance. The meaningful ECS are very time consuming so it makes no sense to do them unless you really find them meaningful for you.
