<p>I was accepted into both Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Evansville for Theatre Design. The only thing holding me back from making a decision is the finances. In order to attend CMU I would have to take out loans. The loans would not be bad at all, but its still debt in general which is frowned on. Is CMU’s program worth the investment? or is Evansville’s program just as adequate? CMU is my number one school, but I am trying to be smart.</p>
<p>Evansville is a diamond in the rough. Small school, but big-time theatre program led by a highly respected department chairman. The prof who heads the design program is well-liked and has an impressive resume’.
Get your bachelors from Evansville and, if you must, use that loan on a grad program.
Visit UE and I think you’ll be quietly impressed.</p>
