Anyone applied to their business school (Tepper)?
maybe they might be going to waitlist but they’re js saying they wont so people wld move on to other options and take the next steps instead of waiting for 30th june. the lucky 1-2% wld probably be notified by email if they get off the waitlist. just a random theory lol to keep myself distracted.
I spoke to them this week about tepper and they said they have not gone to the waitlist yet and should know by end on the morning.

Hi, is there any news for the School of Design? Or should I call/email admissions the status of their WL?
My D is waitlisted at school of design and haven’t heard anything.
I was wrong in my last post when I anticipated June 1st as a potential day for any movement in the waitlisted applicants. Speculating here again that since last year the gap between regular enrollment deadline (may 1st) and waiting list opening (June 1st) was 1 month apart, we could potentially expect some/any movement this weekend (May 15th vs June 15th). Fingers crossed!
This is just crazy. CMU should let the students know. Will people still drop, or is CMU not at capacity? I do not know. This waiting is killing
I saw this post on Reddit 
I am going to Carnegie Mellon in the fall, and just got an email that they have an unexpectedly high number of students for the class of 2028, and so are offering people to move into 3-person rooms from 2-person rooms.
This probably means that more people accepted their spot at CMU than what CMU was expecting
I asked them in a mail if there is any movement at all is expected. They sent me a mail saying for almost all courses, they have met their enrollment goals but kept the list open for the 0.1% if at all. So guys, keep your hopes almost 0. Thats the reality. Just for namesake waiting till june30 for an official reject mail

Thats crazy, but why are they still accepting updates that I provided? They even replied in email that they filed my love letter.
They wont say No till June 30th I suppose. It is for that 0.1% , you may be that one who knows 
When i spoke with admission they said they will put my updates on file but its not considered when determining who to bring off the waitlist why even accept it if you won’t use it

I dont think they will even go to the waitlist. They are just accepting to be polite. One thing about CMU is they are all nice people. But they dont have room for anyone new is what I think. Also this year they have seen especially high acceptance rate. So they are helpless. They should not waitlist too many people, but just a few so that others wont sit like us waiting for some good news. Thats all.
