I got my semifinalist email at exactly 3:00 PM so if we’re expecting it today, it may come at that time.
Results are in on the portal. I wasn’t selected to advance 
Actually, just checked my portal and it says that I was not selected to advance. Still gonna wait for an email but I think that pretty much seals the deal ?

Great work to everyone who applied. My daughter was very excited to be named as a Regional Finalist. The semi finalists from our area were so strong - this was a surprise!

aghhhhh! i’m so nervous for Wednesday. how’s everyone holding up?
nervous too @bluejayflor ! but i found out that the scholars weekend is cancelled this year because of covid-19 and that actually sucks.
instead it’s going to be a “virtual” thing that they will plan for in the future. but im rly disappointed about not being able to fly down to atlanta, eat good food, and meet so many new friends! the whole thing about the coke scholarship is really the relationships and connections it provides, and without scholars weekend it’s just not the same (and missing school to go there wouldve been nice too 
).
ugh its just that even though we could always connect on insta and fb, it’s not the same without having met the person in real life. and of course i heard from previous scholars that they give you so much swag there like tshirts, socks, backpacks, and all kinds of merch! and we would miss taking pictures to look back on and then post on social media.
