I’m split on this decision. Do I choose the College Academy for Junior and Seinor year and get both a high school diploma and Associates in Arts by age 18, or do I stay in IB and get IB diploma?
Which will get me into MIT?

First, I hope you have high school goals other than getting into MIT (or some college).

To answer the “which will help me get into MIT,” I doubt the choice matters. Either one shows that you have challenged yourself sufficiently.

I think you should choose the IB option because you take classes and hang out with people of your age (more or less). While taking classes with people of different age groups in College Academy could be interesting, high school is not only about the academics but also the community. The community at a community college (which I assume College Academy is) is probably not as great. Furthermore, you can probably form better friendships and connections in the IB program, which would help you in life wherever you go and whatever you do.

If you want college credit, however, go to community college. After 2 years of IB and 4 higher levels, I’ll probably end up testing out of one class due to IB (no matter how well I do on the exam). I received the college credits for 3 classes Sophomore year with 2 AP tests.
