I’m taking:
Mathematics of Money
International Studies
What is Literature
Intro Creative Writing
Mass Media and Society
This is my last semester at my current school; I will be joining the “big leagues” in fall 2016. It’s crazy to think of how fast the time has gone.
Managed to keep my 4.0 in tact this semester.
(I just got my last grade today because one of my professors was ill.)
Classes begin next week! This break has gone so fast. Well, there are just fifteen weeks until summer break!
I agree that break has gone by really fast… At least, a lot faster than last year’s break was.
I’m still on a bunch of waiting lists, so I’ll just have to see what classes I end up with…
I managed to get a very good GPA this semester after a tough year last year because of family issues I had going on. I’m super proud of myself. Here’s to next semesters! As for classes, I’m taking:
Mathematical logic
Complex Analysis
Thermochemistry
Physical Chem Lab
Singing
I’m in a predicament. I was able to get into an online section of one of the courses I was going to take on-campus. Because of this, the majority of my classes are on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I have one class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and I’m thinking of dropping that one and taking a MWF class. I wanted to take the T/R class mainly because a professor I really like is teaching it, but at the same time, it would be nice to have T/R off, especially during the winter because I wouldn’t have to commute 2/5 days of the week. What should I do?
First week of classes is almost over. I ended up dropping my T/R class and taking another M/W/F one, so I only have classes three days a week. I really like all of my classes so far, and it doesn’t look like they will be too terribly difficult. It should be a very interesting semester!
I start on Tuesday why why why why did you start so early?
@TinnyT What industry are you looking in? Statistically, at least one should accept you. On another hand, none might accept. Such is the plight of a college student.
I just finished my first week of classes. This semester’s going to be challenging but fun! I really like all my professors. I’m taking intro to music composition, abstract algebra 1, dance history/theory 2, intermediate german 2, and algorithms.
Scheduling for my music rehearsals and lessons has gotten messy, though, since we’re doing a special chamber concert this semester and I’m in basically every piece but one (usually you’re only in one). So I have 2-3 rehearsals a week for that, rehearsals with my accompanist, 3 private lessons, and jazz combo rehearsals all still not scheduled. I’ve sent my schedule out to two professors so far (my piano prof who also directs combo and my accompanist who also runs chamber). I’m hoping they don’t choose the same times! After that, I’m planning to schedule my other lessons. And I’m playing so many instruments in ensembles this semester, it’s kind of ridiculous (5-6)!
I’m almost done with week three. I have already gotten 100% on my assignments in both of my online classes; one assignment was an essay, too. I have a math exam on Monday, which shouldn’t be too bad because it’s multiple choice. I want to do well in this class because it’s my last math class. So far, so good.
How on earth did you guys manage to keep this thread active?
The class of 2017 thread died fast.
I love all of my classes this semester. :x
I think I got a pretty fun bunch of classes this semester:
Shakespeare
Rulership and Politics of Resistance
Calculus III
Intermediate Hebrew II
Principles of Macroeconomics
The Ancient World on Screen
Absolutely love the Classics class above: literally every class, we watch a different movie about antiquity (like Troy, Clash of the Titans, 300, etc)! Rulership and Politics of Resistance has been really cool too - reading Antigone, Burial at Thebes, and Antigonick to start off was really fun! And it’s my third semester with my Hebrew teacher, she’s just great.
I know it’s really early in the year, but I want to have some opinion of my POTENTIAL fall 2016 schedule. Taking calc 1 over the summer. I’ve been preparing since of December as I’ve been practicing my algebra skills. I’m taking Precalc this semester!! There will be two schedules I will put down. Trying to transfer for Fall 2017! Spring 2016 will be my last at CC. Going to apply to Penn State this coming September.

I may be technically class of 2017, but at the rate of my interested upper division classes being closed off, I might as well end up joining y’all for graduation.
Hey, everyone! I hope your terms are going well. I can’t believe it’s almost March already. How are your classes?
One more week of classes, and then I’m on spring break!
