College football

I love it

The Sugar Bowl is a prime reason why.

ugh… i don’t have anything against Utah, but i was cheering for Alabama to put them in their place.

for the next year, we’re gonna have to hear about “Mid-majors deserve a chance, Utah should be split national-champion” and all kinds of nonsense.

Playoffs, anyone?? After tonight, I would place Utah against any team in the country in a playoff.

Take into consideration, however, that the entire Alabama offensive line was screwed up. This caused a lot of Utah’s defensive success. If Andre had been in there for 'Bama, I think this game would have ended differently.

i think that utah just proved that you dont have to be a big conference school to be the best in the country

alabama was 1 in the nation for much of the season, and utah went in to what was basically a road game and demolished them… if this doesnt say that a playoff is needed, then i dont know what does

I do wish for a playoff, but to be honest, teams like Utah and Boise St, wouldn’t win.

I’m not taking anything away from them, but I can’t see them pulling an upset more than once. They aren’t physical enough to hang multiple times. This isn’t college basketball.

If you have an 8 team playoff. Utah would have to beat like Texas, then lets say Oklahoma, then a team like Florida or Bama. A mid major couldn’t beat all 3. I’m sorry. I like upsets, when they happen. The playoff system would benefit a team like USC. They lose early and then they blow everyone out. They are left out of the title game, but they could definitely beat everyone.

& @ Hustler -
Utah didn’t prove that. They haven’t proven to be the best in the country. As far as I’m concerned, they beat an Alabama team that just lost to Florida by 11 points, an Alabama team that was weak last night. Credit to Utah, but not over doing it.

Bama was missing their team MVP and best player in Andre Smith. 8 sacks for Utah? That definitely would have been different if Bama had their regular o-line out there.

If Utah played Florida, OU, Texas, or USC they’d lose by 40.

rutgers…national champ considerations?

i love college football… how many girls do u see say that- yes i’m a girl!
