Hello everyone, I am currently a high school senior and my college list has almost 30 schools that I need to cut down. Which schools would I remove from my list, based on possible admissions decisions?

I appreciated your input!

  • Budget is 30k a year.

American University, Boston College, Bryn Mawr College,Fordham University, Indiana University-Bloomington, McGill University, Mount Holyoke, NYU, Penn State, Purdue , Trinity College, tULANE, Vanderbilt University, University of Virginia, and University of Wisconsin-Madison and 10 CUNY/SUNYs

Have you run the net price calculators on all these schools? Some are not likely to get under $30K per year, including IU, PSU, UWisc, and Purdue.

I think the sub 20% schools are very high reaches with a 3.2 GPA and test optional, so I might keep just one of those (Vandy, NYU, Tulane, UVA OOS).

Out of the CUNY/SUNYs which are affordable safeties…and which would you be happy to attend?

@Mwfan1921 , I have run the net price and was okay with the price they presented me with. However, NYU was a little too pricey and it is a very high reach, so I might take that off.
The CUNYs I plan to apply to are Baruch, Hunter, Queens, and CCNY.
The SUNYs I plan to apply to are Binghamton, Stoney Brook, Ubuff, and Ualbany
