DS accepted with 12,500 a year over 4 years (total 50k). So excited. Congrats to all.
@photogmom02 did your daughter get an invite for the interview weekend for Honors College? I saw on another thread that there was going to be an interview weekend, but wasn’t sure if someone could be accepted without the interview. My DD applied Honors College as well, was accepted with $12,000 annually, but no mention of Honors College. No interview invitation either.
She did not get an invite for the honors interview weekend. But that is only to be considered for the top scholarships. Students can still be accepted into honors college without a weekend invite. Honors decisions should be out by Jan31st.
Correction to my last post (#36)
I was looking at a spreadsheet of her acceptances. & merit offers and put the wrong amount on this thread. I’m so sorry (and embarrassed) for the inaccurate info!!! I was thinking it was odd that she was the only one to get $20K/ yr!!!
She was accepted with the $12,500/yr.
Applied to honors and still waiting on that. Congrats to everyone!!
And again, I’m so sorry for posting wrong info!
Does anyone from OOS know if the Jasper Adams scholarship amount of $10,000 is included in the merit amount or if it is something separate?
I believe they are different as the scholarship application was only due yesterday.
Anyone know how soon to expect the letters in the mail?
DS received an email on Friday about his application for the departmental scholarships that was due on the 15th. Just notifying him that they are being processed. Additional scholarship $ would make a huge difference for us, as it would bring costs below in state. Anyone else hearing about financial aid yet?
Just curious if anyone has heard any news regarding honors college decisions. I understand Jan. 31 is the official notification date, but wondering if anyone has received their decision.
@“Books!” Was wondering the same. Also wondering about the departmental scholarships and when decisions about those might be released.
Has anyone received a formal acceptance in the mail (like an old school BIG envelope) from CofC? My son got his EA acceptance online on the 15th, but I don’t know whether we should be keeping an eye out for anything else. Thanks!
@Photogmom02, how did you find out how much scholarship your DD received? Did they include it in the acceptance letter? Thanks
My oos DD was accepted EA in mailed envelope 1/23. No mention of merit.
DS was accepted on 1/15 and got the big envelope in the mail last weekend.
The envelope finallly arrived on 2/5 We are going to visit in a few weeks!
