Accepted OOS with 5k/yr merit scholarship but waitlisted from honors college. Anyone know my chances of being accepted after showing continued interest?
Deferred for several kids from Childs OOS IB school. Not going to apply for second round. Waiting on USC. If that is a no then itâs likely George Mason
OOS accepted $13,000/year merit
For future future reference:

Decisions came out after 6 pm on December 14. No change to portal, no heads up email, no way to read the tea leaves.
Accepted with 6,000/year merit.
3.8W, 1230 SAT
Toured school in the summer, applied through âpriorityâ using the fee waiver sent to us after the summer tour.
Very excited!
Congrats to your family and to all admitted! Our OOS daughter is in exactly the same situation. From what we have learned, there is a solid chance to gain admission to the Honors College if waitlisted, but Iâm not sure what the real probabilities areâŠas they are probably specific to each individual in such a situation.
Best wishes and good luck to everyone!

Great essays
She wasnât even considering it until she told a teacher that she got in. He raved about how good it is, and now she is seriously considering it, itâs now her #2 behind USC. She got a $48k merit from GMU.
Since she was deferred from COC. We arenât too optimistic that she will get EA to USC.
3.9 GPA, 29 ACT, started two clubs, leader of tutoring volunteer group, leader of animal shelter volunteer group, French honors society, national honors society, tennis all 4 years, etc.
