Wich Colleges you applied?

thank you dreamadvisor, my question is to @Shushaw, thinking about the people in the forum can have more information about if is better take this scholarship right now or if he/she have chances in another school in fall. I guess this 30.000 is a good scholarship for international students.

I’ve checked the University, it’s a good one but a small college and Stockton isn’t a good college town. It’s know for a high crime rate too. Plus the college doesn’t offer good specialisation in CS. I just wanted to ask that if a waited for my SAT results and applied for fall will I get a better college than this or is it a offer that I shouldn’t refuse. I don’t want to go just because it offers me good scholarship @dreamadvisors

This is my list for fall admit.

If money was no object, I’d expect you could wait and get into another school.

There’s nothing wrong with the University of the Pacific. It’s considered a good school, though not prestigious if that matters. If you were an American looking for a job in the US with a CS degree from Pacific, you wouldn’t have a problem finding one.

The only schools you might get scholarship money from are Pacific, Illinois Institute of Technology, Rochester Institute of Technology, and Clark. All the others are public universities, and it will be almost impossible for an international student to get scholarship money from them.
