Orangemon: just poured myself a glass of wine.

hey orangemom, I may have seen you there in 1985! It’s somewhat less of a blur for me, but there are HUGE gaps in the story as I relate it to my kids. Pretty sure I spent some quality time with a member of that Hitler Youth Fraternity. A weekend to remember (if only slightly).

Wow, you guys had a lost weekend together …

Congratulations to Rockvillemom and her son! I am really happy for you both. :-)

Love this list that is specifically for this thread. I am finding it incredibly useful. My junior daughter is taking her SAT for the first time today and I am a nervous wreck! For the first time, this actually feels REAL. Scary!

I have an additional suggestion for the list. We should add a third section that lists where prior kids are enrolled as well. We have many supportive parents on here who continue to contribute and impart wisdom. Knowing where their kids are could be helpful. Others would know who to reach out to for school specific advise. I know that linymom and MHc might be my future sources. While we all know where some kids are, it might be helpful to include all who make this community so vital and helpful. Just a thought…

Ok, so I must share how addicted I am to this forum…I am checking postings last night and tonight, and it is my son’s bar mitzvah today. Couldn’t leave the house last night it this am, without my fix.

As this is the last child, this should be a great day.

Need Advice!

Once again, our post office delivered S’s acceptance to Tulsa to wrong address. It was postmarked 11/22 and we found it in our mailbox today prior to our mail delivery. And I KNOW that I got yesterday’s mail.

It just seems odd that so far all of his acceptances (2 via mail) have been mis-delivered. I’m frustrated and want to question the post office supervisor.

Does anyone think this will do any good? I don’t think I know anybody in the post office, so I don’t think I (or S) have ever pi$$ed anyone off.

^^911: our address is similar to another one in our neighborhood so I feel your pain…the errors seem to happen when there is a substitute mail carrier…

If it were me, I would stroll down to my local post office and just mention the error; sometimes the dispatchers can advise the carriers to watch out for it in the coming months…
