Pamaom,

Love that new format. I think it will be helpful for upcoming parents to have this handy list.
Kind of surprised that the list is not longer. Guess it will keep growing. I find it amazing that we do not have an Indiana parent here. A good B school with a large jewish population. There are some other obvious schools missing from our list as well. Wisconsin comes to mind. Miami…etc…

Hey SlitheyTove- Thanks for the advice about how to look at test scores and such. I thought I knew what I was doing but clearly not! Very useful info.

@Rodney- HUGE CONGRATS to your D!! Hope graduation was awesome.

MomJr- Congrats to your D1 as well! You comment “I want her life” made me laugh. Me too!

That’s really quite an amazing list for the 2012 graduates. You all should be so proud of them… and proud of yourselves for keeping it together and guiding them through the process. I will be going back and referring to the earlier parts of the thread I am sure!

I feel like we are in a holding pattern right now. SAT was taken (2nd time) this past Saturday, AP test is tomorrow. Thinking about college is on hold until the summer, I think, with the exception of asking teachers to write letters of recommendation. I’m kind of welcoming the break.

D so far has not made final plans re: summer. She wants to take a dance class, but isn’t registered. She might take a college class (Statistics) but we can’t seem to figure out if that will cause a problem with college admittance as a freshman. She hasn’t tried to find a job. I’ve told her that while I don’t want her running around wildly, I also don’t want her sleeping til noon and not doing anything with her day either. I’m fighting with myself to let her do this on her own instead of stepping in…

Prom is a week away. The daily “Prama” reports keep me amused each afternoon after school. Ah, girls. ;-)
