Didn’t the OP say she had gotten accepted to Boston University? Assuming she can pay the costs to attend, I would say that BU is very similar in many ways to Syracuse. BU has hockey…and its big at BU. No football.
BU also has Boston. But the cost to attend might be an issue.
@Taylorwicks if you have a fall 2018 acceptance to BU…it must have been early decision…and you would also have your financial aid package. Are you pulling out of your ED acceptance?
Other similar schools? What about University of Delaware? Not as costly as some of the other flaships for OOS kiddos. Good engineering (but really there are a LOT of colleges with ABET accredited engineering programs).
Other thoughts…University of New Hampshire…again…not sure if cost will work out but it’s a lot less costly than BU or Syracuse.
