Colleges on or near beaches

Pepperdine University offers great views of the North LA coastline not to mention that outstanding surf breaks like Malibu and County Line are nearby.

Coastal Carolina- the name says it all

Also this region is the fastest growing in the US. So, likely lots of opportunities

Monmouth University is not too far from the beach. Stockton University is probably about 20 min drive to the beach. Both are in NJ.

UF is close to the beach (45 minutes), but not close enough where it is a constant distraction.

I am moving posts specific to @ali-ice to their chance/match thread. Refining the list -and looking for some mid-sized schools to add [3.85 GPA, <$30k, possibly biology or communication disorders / speech language pathology]

The intent of this thread is for a general identification of campuses near beaches. Please keep the threads separate. Thank you for your understanding.

UW-Superior is within walking distance of Lake Superior and looks out over Wisconsin Point, believed to be the world’s largest freshwater sand bar-- miles of undeveloped sandy beach.

I go to Stetson University in DeLand, Florida…20-25 min from Daytona, 30-35 from New Smyrna and Ormond Beaches. Also, 2 1/2 hours from the gulf beaches like Anna Maria Island. They give great merit aid as well.
My sister went to graduated from Coastal Carolina University and was about 25 minutes from both Myrtle Beach and Surfside Beach.
When touring colleges for myself and her, some others that were close to the beach:
UNC Wilmington
Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL
Nova Southeastern outside of Ft. Lauderdale (gives really great merit and has dual enrollment programs for Master’s Degrees)
Flagler in St. Augustine
University of Jacksonville
University of Miami
