Colleges with music/entertainment industry business degrees AND low tuitions?

<p>Hello,</p>

<p>I’ve recently decided that I want to study Music Business in college. I’m from Georgia and so far I haven’t found any colleges that offer a Music/Entertainment business degree which I can afford. I have the Hope scholarship available if the college is in Georgia, but I haven’t been able to find any reputable colleges with this area of study available.I’ve been exploring schools with a marketing major in mind so this recent change has me a little confused. The colleges that I was interested in before in the context of marketing were Georgia Southern, Emory, Jacksonville University, FSU, and UGA. (I’m only a junior so this is a limited scope)</p>

<p>I’ve looked at several colleges in California where this degree seems most popular but the tuition is all upwards of 50k a year.</p>

<p>Does anyone know of a school that can meet my needs? Am I asking too much? Perhaps there is some major/minor combination available at a Georgia or Florida school that I could use to obtain a job in the music industry?</p>

<p>Do you qualify for HOPE in GA? If so, that may limit how much they’ll spend.</p>

<p>My parents will pay as much as they can, it all depends how much the Hope, student loans, and perhaps other available scholarships can help. I’m just looking for a reasonable tuition because frankly 65k a year is just ridiculous. I’ve been putting my max around 40k.</p>

<p>Also, I’ve looked into Belmont but the only issue is that they are a Christian school and require you to take religion classes… I am agnostic and I’m not sure if I would fit in. If anyone here knows, is Christianity a big part of campus life? I’m always open to learning more about all types of religions and a class doesn’t bother me but I wouldn’t want to be constantly surrounded by people who I feel don’t thinly he same as me.</p>
