Collin County Community COllege or University of Chester

So I’ve got a big decision to make. I’ve been accepted by many universities in the UK and US but unfortunately I’m not that rich and can’t afford most of them. SO I got two options:

1.I can either go to the states and study Associate of Arts in Business at Collin County Community COllege Plano,TX and then transfer to University of North Texas’ Bs in Accounting program. Once I graduate I’ll have a shot at working in the US for 1 year (OPT). At the end of the day, I’ll not become a CPA.

2.I can go the UK and study at the University of Chester Bsc in Accounting and Finance (4-years with placement/internship year). Once I graduate I’ll get exemption from 8 CIMA Papers and become part-qualified CIMA and I will also have a chance to look for an employer who is willing to sponsor me. If i do find an employer, I’ll be able to work in the UK for 2 years.

What do you think is the best option?

The UK option looks much more straightforward to me. You wouldn’t have to transfer in the middle of your program, and you would get a year of internship as well.

I guess you’re right, Internships are very valuable.

I can’t think what would induce you go to the University of Chester, i would go almost anywhere but there.

why what’s wrong with chester ?I figured it’s quite cheap and it looked decent for someone who has only 220 UCAS points.

UK sounds like the better option.

By the way, how is North Texas’ Business School?

University of Chester…is NOT a great university. If UNT is an option rather go there.

In order to transfer to UNT, I’d have to get at least 3.5 average in both freshman and sophomore year. I don’t know if I can do that, I’ve graduated high school a couple of years ago, I’ve forgotten a lot.

U of Chester is a better deal for you. There are too many things that have to go right, in order to make the CCCC to UNT plan work.
