Has anyone else received a package from Columbia GS? I received one today and it contains a letter to prospective students, but it’s not an admission letter; it’s more of a ‘thank you for your interest’ letter. And then there is a very well-crafted brochure that kind of like introduces everything about Columbia GS. I didn’t know that schools would send out physical letters and brochures like this to students who applied, I’m curious to know if this is being sent to everyone.

(Maybe this is a normal thing, I just don’t know because I’m not from the US)

got one before I even applied, just for being in phi theta kappa saying how they think Columbia GS is meant for honorably students like myself. It’s basically the second you join or I guess also send an application , they automatically put your name and address on a list that sends out certain stuff. On a separate note, lots of schools send people these types of letters before applying as well because Don’t forget the more people they get to apply , the more people they can deny in order to get their acceptance raters lowers. Lots of schools do this

Hey, everyone! I applied for early decision transfer, and I’m extremely nervous because I really want to get in. Do you think the decisions will be released around 5 PM on March 1st?

If you applied for early action then no, but if you applied for priority early action then yes!
