Accepted!!! I screamed when the video came out! :DDD I can’t even believe this after getting accepted into Brown today, along with UChicago and Northwestern.

If anyone is feeling sad that they got rejected, let me share my story.
I am an IMO Bronze medalist and a US citizen (who lives overseas), yet I’ve never been accepted to a US university.
I applied to 12 US unis last year for undergrad—all rejects (including GA tech with its 30% acceptance rate)
I applied to 3 US transfers this year–2 rejects so far (yale is not out yet)
So yeah. At some point I just stopped caring. That’s my advice:
What you dont care about cant hurt you

Recs: my spanish professor who was nice to me, and another professor who’s 20 person class i fell asleep in
Essay: I was like “damn bro aint it crazy that piercing my ears was such a big deal because of my cultural upbringing??? thats crazy man!” …anyway that’s why I want to study urban studies : ) (two different essays)
