Does anyone know the approximate acceptance rate?

@su1228 maybe 15-18%? i’m not sure but i heard it’s about 400 out of 3000

That’s so competitive… don’t think I can’t get in :(((

Also, what did you guys get for the question with the imaginary number expression you had to plug in for x?

I got -1 for that question

@su1228 don’t say that! you got this.

Does anyone know when results will be out?

@baadshah7777777 50 volts?

Yes jovancubano. Thanks

Hi everyone! How was the exam? Did Columbia have any anti cheat measures put in place? If anyone also took the exam last year, how did this years compare?

@lol0522 the exam was on canvas which I think has some anti-cheat measures but i don’t think it’s the best. i also took the exam last year and for me personally this year’s was easier because i knew how to better approach studying for this exam.

@JovenCubano I assumed before the test that there would be anti-cheating measures but it does not seem like there were.

@jkotl0327 Yea that’s what I thought too. I think the only “anti-cheating” thing Canvas has is that it can tell if you left the website, but that doesn’t seem too reliable.

Right. I know people who go to Columbia though and they say that it says you are inactive if you don’t scroll or click for 30 seconds, which could mean you left the page or that you just looked at a question for a long time. I know I definitely looked at some questions (especially challenge math) for a long time and I’m sure most other kids did too, so that can’t be used as anti-cheating. They should have done screen lock.

Results will be announced on August 21st.

How did you find out?
