Thatā€™s interestingā€¦ it was just one source though. Wouldnā€™t Columbia notify in waves, a bunch of people at the same time, included those they were going to reject?

i agree! a little sus about how little included in supposed first wave. do you know if the waves include rejects? or is everyone on the waitlist just reevaluated again for the next wave?

Iā€™m not sure, this year seems crazy! However, the other schools do reject people as part of their wave.

if there WAS indeed a wave, then probably, but i feel like we will see an expanded wave next friday. hoping they include in-state on that one, since i live in the city :slight_smile:

On reddit someone says that a couple international and OOS students have gotten in earlier today. If this is the case, does it mean that no more international will get off the waitlist?

From what I know about waitlists, it usually goes like if a trombone player rejects their school, then theyā€™ll get a trombone player off the waitlist. So if another international students decides not to go to their school, Iā€™d assume that they would get an international student from the waitlist.

hi guys. also waitlisted from CC. been lurking for a while, but now that decision day is (almost) over, iā€™ve decided to pop in and say hi. howā€™s everyone doing?

Thank you so much! I feel like there are definitely more than a couple international RD students who have decided not to go, so maybe I can expect more international students to be taken next weekā€¦? what do you guys think?
