There are some classes on SIS that are combined such as KRTR3030 and KRTR5030. Since the classes are together anyways, is it ok to sign up for KRTR5030 instead of KRTR3030? KRTR3030 is full. SIS allowed me to enroll in KRTR5030 and there are no pre-reqs for either class.

I can’t exactly answer that. In this particular combined section, you do realize that 5030 is a graduate level class that requires a 25-30 page paper, apparently written in Korean? It seems to me that it’s the same material, but different requirements for the two sections that attend. Perhaps if not enough grad students sign up, then there will be additional space. I would be careful here. Maybe you should contact the professor if you really want to take it.

5030 is probably a few slots specifically set aside for grad students who don’t quite have the expected undergrad preparation for the graduate program; the higher level slots for the same class section are definitely not intended to be taken by undergrads.

No you can’t sign up for the 5000 level version.
