My S will be a freshman in August. Because he is doing FLVS he will only have 6 classes to take at school. The guidance counselor says he now has the option of coming to school late and start 2nd period or come to school regular time and leave after 6th period? Which would you prefer and why? If it makes any difference he will be playing football so leaving early might give him a chance to rest or do homework before heading back for practice.
I would choose the option to start later. I think it would just be easier and more convenient but it should really be left up to your son
