Is it better to have a lot of community service hours from like 4 or 5 different places, or to concentrate on 1 or 2 places and have less hours?

I concentrated on 1 or 2…I believe I got 73 from one place and 20 from another.

Plus about 24 from a 3rd.

I’m thinking that one or two important community service projects would be looked upon more favorably than a few volunteer hours here and there at many different places. Regular involvement in, say, tutoring at a literacy center, would show dedication beyond showing up to serve dinner once in a while at a homeless center. (Though that is certainly worthy!) As with high school activities, I’ve been told that colleges value depth of conviction/involvement in a few clubs and organizations, over a superficial involvement in many.

i think one or two “looks better”. however, you should do what you want-superficiality is VERY easy to see through
