Comp Help

I inadvertently did something to move the taskbar from the bottom to the top of my screen.

I’ve spent an hour trying to get it back to screen bottom.

Help!

I’m running Windows XP, vers 2002 service pack 3

Try putting the arrow on your task bar, left click and hold it, and then drag where you want the task bar to reside. I clicked on a spot to the left of the tray on the right side of the taskbar. If I clicked on a spot that was more to the left side of the task bar, but it didn’t work.

Tried it, no luck.

"Click on an empty area of the taskbar and hold the mouse button down.

Now, just drag the mouse down to where you want the taskbar to be. Once you get close enough, it’ll jump right into place.

To keep it from jumping around again, right click on the taskbar, and then select Lock the Taskbar.“”

OR

[How to move the Windows Taskbar from its default position or reset it to its default position](http://support.microsoft.com/kb/253679)

go to the bottom of the page and see if the “fix it” works for you.

Thanks. It worked.

great, make sure you lock the taskbar so you don’t move/lose it again :-)

Is there any question Google can’t answer !
