I’m currently in 10th grade CBSE (India). I wanted to know how much would be a good percentage to obtain in the 10th boards to make a competitve application. On the NUS site it says “A good pass in all subjects”. What exactly is a GOOD pass?? And NTU has an entrance test too right?

As far as I know, ECs do not factor in the main admissions process per se, rather, they are considered for discretionary admissions and appeals. ‘A good pass in all subjects’ is highly misleading as it is the minimum requirement for an applicant not to be automatically rejected. The actual norms in the grades of admitted students are much higher than the ‘requirements’. I am unfamiliar with the Indian education system but I’d say that with the recent tightening of foreign student quotas, the bar has been set higher for internationals. Do see the following for grade profiles of admitted students in the 90/10th percentiles of NUS/NTU:
