Comprehensive fee

I was wondering if anyone knew if there is a way out of paying the “mandatory” comprehensive fee. Last semester, I made no use of the gyms, rarely used the bus, and never visited Student Health.

Only if you’re part time (<12 credits), which jeopardizes you if you are receiving any financial aid, are on your parents’ car or health insurance, or live in dorms (and also means you won’t graduate on time unless you have tons of AP credits). I also know you can’t be a student worker if you are part time, I’m not sure how it affects you if you have insurance through student health but even going there might be jeopardized, heaven forbid you get sick. I really wouldn’t mess with it as an undergrad…

Probably not, unless you receive FinAid. You never know when you’ll visit Student Health, there’s no way to prove you don’t use the buses, and you should take advantage of the gym. Therefore, it’s probably not feasible to cut it out

I’m glad people can’t opt out of this fee. If people don’t take advantage of the buses or the gym, it’s their problem.
