I am currently a sophmore computer engineering major at UMD College Park. I do not like the school for a few reasons:
- Not a big fan of the urban feel. I grew up here and I enjoy places where I can get out into the wilderness, while still having a somewhat urban feel.
- I feel that the computer engineering program is not progressive enough. For example, when am I ever going to be hand-writing pages of code with no access to the internet? Never. So why is that the way my programming exams are? I would like a school that is more realistic in their expectations in terms of exams and assignments.
- It feels like a marathon. I have no summer or winter breaks for the next 2.5 years and I have no room in my schedule to take electives.

So I thought about a liberal arts college but most do not have computer engineering. Any suggestions as to where to transfer to?
