nurseypoo, you are so dull, that was a joke in regards to the fact that in Texas people who are mentally ■■■■■■■■ have been executed, how old are you?

What, confused is playing the age card??? You are 17 (if I remember correctly), don’t use an age based attack (you loose on all accounts there). AFDAD2010’s comment was a legitimate comparison.

Ever thought of attacking arguments rather than the person presenting them?

I sat and read most of this thread and wonder why the debate with a child? Many of the things said by C23 are spiteful and ridiculous but then I remember that the prefrontal cortex, which makes people ‘‘act like an adult,’’ is not fully developed in a teenager until after the age of 18. Therfore, debating said child is just silly. Now if C23 isn’t really a child, then that’s a whole different problem that he has. LOL But, until his frontal cortex is developed, it’s pointless to try to get him to understand rational thought.
NAPS05mom

raimus how many times have other people here made ad hominem attacks?

Quite often, but that does not excuse your attacks.

C23- I find zero humor in the death of mentally ill, nor using them as the butt of a joke. How old am I? I think they need to use carbon dating to figure that one out. Additionally, if you really are a teenager, there is so much more to learn.

NAPS05MOM- you are correct. I had no idea how old C23 is, but now that I do, it explains quite a bit.

PEOPLE! PEOPLE! Its time to take back your SA threads!! I beg you! Hit your ignore buttons & move on!

I agree JM!
I’m done - my “God is Love” statement (on the other thread) was my conclusion.
Hopefully the unenlightened will “get it” one day.

So…how are things in the “Upcountry”?
'Bout to hit the river down here!
Life is Good!

I offered this once before, feel free to use it anytime others start ramping up w/ C23.

WARNING
YOU ARE ATTEMPTING HAVE A RATIONAL DISCUSSION WITH A 17-YEAR OLD. STOP! YOU WOULD NOT HAVE THIS DISCUSSION IN PERSON WITH A 17-YEAR OLD. STOP!

A 17-year old that has accomplished nothing; published nothing; has no experience in world affairs; basically, a kid that knows how to spew out goofy statements that are so outrageous to adults that they feel a need to respond in an effort to set the record straight. STOP! IT DOES NO GOOD!

Since this is a service academies thread, I have a question. My son just left for NASS I yesterday (excited isn’t the word to use for his state of mind). He has his candidate number, but when he checked on the website for his B&G officer, there was no information. Do they post those later on? Thanks!

Bill - hence the reason for my original post! ;)

BTW, I rest my case about people from Berzerkeley. :D

Too bad the SAT and the CLASS RANK stats for Berkeley are higher than the ranges for your community colle-, er i mean usxa

LOL You guys are awesome as always. Bill’s WARNING label has legs of its own and stands pretty dang well. Perfect! Parents tend to know when its just monkey business…

Congrats nurseypoo (get a giggle when I type that name) on your son. Bet he is having a blast. I’m sure the info will post soon. I seem to recall that the BGO was assigned later than June. Maybe in August? Anyone remember when it was?

Bz, you bet life is good! Enjoy the water! Its just plain hot. Enjoyed your responses. I also loved the one Prayerfulmom wrote before she went off to church with the rest of the “dummies”. LOL Ya’ll crack me up.

Zap :)

WAKE UP CALL!!!

Can’t believe you guys! Leave for a couple of days and come back to find 195 posts- thats ONE HUNDRED NINETY FIVE responses to IGNORING CONFUSED!!!

YOU GUYS ARE WASTING YOUR TIME!!! Take Bills advice and IGNORE- and JMs adivce to DELETE CONFUSED and put him out of his misery once and for all!

We need to get back to serious discusions about merlot and chocolate and tighty-whities and what-to-bring-on-I-Day and last-minute-jitters and what-to-wear / where-to-stay / where-to-eat / and how many TISSUES TO PACK!!!

Come on now! Can’t believe I am about to hit the “post quick reply” button that will bring this count up to 196…BUT PLEASE MAKE THIS THE LAST ONE!!! I beg of you!!! if you even THINK about posting something more, just say a prayer instead that poor confused enjoys his life in Berkley and that he somehow learns to open his mind to be LESS confused and be thankful that both are well away from the yard !! With any luck a good earthquake may send them even further away!!! ;)

now- back to some meaningful posts!!!

Can we at least get to 200 before we all quit?

re: Nursepoo’s question. Don’t sweat it at the moment. He will come home with lots more information, excitement, etc.
Start another thread about NASS questions by parents. Then answers won’t get lost in this mess.

Well, after finally realizing how stubborn and uninformed you guys are about your political views, i have decided not to post in the SA forums anymore. You guys have been subject to incomprehensibly high levels of propoganda and thus it is impossible to have a logical debate. I couldn’t believe that one of the posters here quoted Colin Powell and Bush to provide evidence to back his claim… Are you serious? You quote Bush and thats evidence? PROPOGANDA! How could you quote the biggest liar on the face of this earth and claim that to be evidence? Anyways, im out of here.

By the way, good luck with these people, Confused23. THEY dont have developed prefrontal cortexes, not you. Nothing gets through to these goofballs, but thats only because they have been indoctrinated by the “principles” of conservatism since they were in diapers. We should feel sorry for them. Maybe one day they will change. Also, good luck in getting into med school. Im planning on med school myself.

One last piece of advice to all you guys in the military who will go to war and sacrifice your lives without questioning authority: Always remember that it is ultimately greed and the lust for money that runs things in this world. Everything we do to “help” people around the world (i.e. Iraq) is for a reason and that reason is money. Simply ask your superiors why you guys are dying in numbers close to 2500. Is it worth it? Speak truth to power!

Do ya’ll hear something? Must have been a fly buzzing around in here over a dead, smellie thread. Oh well. Anyway, have you guys ever heard the one about the pirate who walked into the bar? :)

Hello Navy2010! Hope you had a good week-end.

Isn’t greed and lust for money great!!!
Or is it greed and just plain lust?
That’s it . . . #200. Now move on.
