Connect With Kelley Breakout Session Descriptions?

<p>I thought it would be interesting for people to share the information they got in the different breakout sessions, since others didn’t get to go there. I was in group 121, which was about getting involved with all the student organizations on campus. I must admit I was disappointed in this session (I loved the rest of the day though!). The session was pretty broad and uninformative, I guess it makes sense because they can’t talk about all the clubs on campus, but still. They talked about IUBeginnings, which is a trip before freshman year where you visit different companies and also do some fun stuff. Sounded interesting. I can’t really think of much else they talked about.</p>

<p>But yeah, the session was too generic. The day as a whole was really nice, though.</p>

<p>Sharing this second-hand… My daughter did the Networking breakout session in room 120. She said it was “OK”. They provided some tips on networking in different situations, then they practiced “networking” with the other students in the session. At least it was interactive, and not just sitting and listening to presentations.</p>
