Well lo and behold. It may not be a first but I, for one, am nevertheless surprised that a jury convicted a Chicago PD officer for an unjustified shooting. And kudos to the Illinois Attorney General in a related case for seeking to get a judge to impose a plan of reforms upon the utterly corrupt police in Chicago. As for Mayor Rahm Emanuel…I cannot express the words that adequately state how loathsome his actions have been in these matters.
