Just wonder if anyone knows that we still need to send in 1st quarter report if the application status says “Your materials have been received.” Thanks.

yea i’m pretty sure you do need to send 1st quarter reports.
when i went to visit cornell, they were like we loove senior year grades!!

Really? So I should send them my first quarter report card even though I sent them my transcript and everything…?

if your grades are super, then you should. they just like to see it to make sure that students aren’t slacking off senior year.
but idk about your school. my school sends all grades; my guidance counselor takes care of that stuff.

You don’t need to send your midyear report if you applied ED.

Should we really?
I would love to send it. when I asked my gc a couple of weeks ago, she told me no…I’m going to try to. It wouldn’t hurt right?

Well, since they’ve made a lot of their decisions already… I don’t see how it could help if you applied ED. My schools quarter grades are kind of meaningless also, 'cause its the semester grades that really matter o_O

I recieved a likely letter for Cornell, but my grades are lower than alot of you guys …
3 weeks from today we will find out. as of now im a CALS biometry and statistics but i think i want to change to ILR or AEM. haha i dont think ill be able to transfer to AEM based on all of the scores you guys have.

hm, do you play a sport?

Sports recruit ^^. What sport do you play?

haha yea, im a lightweight rower

crew is my sport, i guess i should mention it since its relatively obscur. Cornell lightweights are nasty though.

Oh man, you must have beastly arms. O_O

Congratulations on the likely letter!

soooo…do we HAVE to send in our first marking period grades, or is it ONLY if they are kick-ass. cuz Cornell hasnt emailed me asking for them…

guys how NERVOUS/ Excited are you!?!? 25 days!

insertAlias: what college in cornell are you applying to?

haha and are you talking about the penn state schryeres deadline coming up?

I checked my FA to do list. And it says they’ve received my Non-custodial Profile but not my Custodial one. o.O…

Anybody interested in the wind ensemble?

I might. I’ve played cello and percussion for many years, and I don’t intend to drop them in college. If I wasn’t an Arch major, I would’ve been interested in joining the Drumline as well, but I definitely won’t have the time for all the competitions and away games. :/

i didn’t fill out a CSS profile and didn’t submit anything…yet i THINK i might have accidentally checked off that i intend to apply for financial aid when i really do not. is this a problem?
i checked my financial aid to do list on cornell and it says “No current to do item information found.”
am i fine?

Yeah, you’re fine.
That concerns me though. I applied for finaid and my to-do list calls for the CSS Profile, yet I submitted it on 10/30. I have a confirmation receipt and everything. Help?

if you see “processing” flashing on the top right corner of your browser page, then they are still processing your css profile. don’t worry about it
