I applied to transfer as a Junior into the Biology and Society major at CALS, and I attend an upstate community college with an articulation agreement. I had nothing on my transeval page and “forgot my pin” didn’t do anything for me either.
I was accepted this morning at 10AM. 
I am sorry to see that so many others were rejected. You will all still go so very far in life, and I hope you do not let a rejection slow you down. You’re great!
@veeletransfer that’s encouraging! When was the last time you checked your transeval before being accepted? Congratulations on your acceptance!
Cornell results come out so early. I’m considering just keeping all my admission results closed until they’re all gathered. Then I can open them all at once and it’ll be one slap in the face instead of five.

Haha, I hate to admit it, but I definitely checked it once at 6:30AM before work and once at 9:30AM, and still had nothing! I probably glanced at it once or twice between too. I was really anxious because I’d been reading this board and it seemed like everyone expected rejections.

@Brunelleschi So, as for those who got accepted, do you have any idea about which major they were admitted to? I guess Planning and Art have better acceptance rate than architecture.

@Moooon I think they were all Architecture majors… Someone posted the transfer admission statistics sorted by colleges and I’m afraid ours has almost the lowest acceptance rate of all (13/127). So it’s definitely going to be hard to get in, but we shouldn’t lose hope! Are you entering as a sophomore or junior?
@transfer2018410 Congratulations on being accepted to ILR, that is great! You probably have no idea about any of this, but do you know if everyone who is admitted will be admitted via phone or did you have some special situation?
It’s nice to see that ILR decisions are starting to roll out, but its hard to shake the feeling that those of us who have received no correspondence from admissions are slowly running out of time to hear something. The fact that ILR personally calls transfer students to let them know they are admitted is awesome and shows their dedication to this entire process, but at the same time it makes all of this slightly more nerve-wracking. The fact that receiving an admissions decision without a phone call means you are rejected sucks, its almost like a race against time!
@jackdub32 I never knew that ILR personally calls students for acceptances but that’s pretty cool, although, I’ll probably be really sad if I end up getting an email from them instead. I’m on the same boat as you though. I’ve been patiently waiting for weeks and now all these rejections/acceptances are starting to make me really nervous!
I talked to the admissions counselor Ian Schachner today and he said that all the ILR decisions should be out by the end of the week. for the people that asked, he just called to ask me if I had taken ap economics and ap statistics, to ask about a trend in my grades senior year of hs, how my classes were this semester. he kind of gave me an opportunity to defend myself from the weaknesses in my application. i do know that my app hasn’t gone to review yet though but i know one of my requirements was late. i dont think its necessarily a bad thing if you havent gotten a call yet, i dont think they’re done processing them and their website says that sometimes they’ll call a student for additional info and not others and it doesnt mean anything
Man I hope engineering is finished this week as well
