Do you think they review the applications in the order of which they were received?
I’ve been following this thread for a while now, but haven’t said anything. I am applying to CAS for Biological Sciences. No pin yet…hope we will hear soon…
It seems CAS applicants don’t hear much from the college
This waiting sucks…
Just curious, what is everyone’s backup school if Cornell says no? Mine is either BU or Binghamton. And yeah, the waiting is rough.
Can anybody tell me who Ian is?
@Collegeyadayada Mine is UIUC.
UCLA… or one of the other privates I’m applying to on the far off chance I get into one of those. I could most likely go to cal but I regret spending time on the application because I like ucla a lot more.
@Moooon holy cow! CAS has TERRIBLE admission stats! not the worst on that list but close
It seems like we all have excellent backups at least. And wow, the CALS stats look pretty good (too bad that’s from 2011). Is there by any chance one for 2013 or 2014?
CAS here, still no pin for me either.
I think Cornell is one of 2-3 other schools I applied to that still I’m interested in (I applied to 12 total). Really doubting an acceptance, though.
Backup would be UMich. I already paid the deposit, set up my account, etc.
Mine is Umichigan too!
Though I haven’t paid the deposit yet
Mine is also Umich and I haven’t paid the deposit either
UMich as well. Paid deposit and done housing
Wow guys on the page 87, welcome to my Michigan!
Feel free to ask me if you have questions, though I do not think I have time to answer before my finals
Seems like there’s no acceptance rate for each college
We are on the same page, seriously
I applied to 11, half public and the rest private. SUNY: Binghamton (deposit down), Cortland (was actually a really fantastic visit but it’s mostly a fitness school), Oneonta, PI, and Geneseo (all accepted). And then for privates I did BU (accepted), RIT (accepted), Northeastern, RPI, Brown and Cornell. No word from the last four yet. Very content with Binghamton though. Are you guys happy with your back up schools or is it Ivy or nothing for you? lol
Haaaappy with Umich! It’s a good school
