Cornell 2015 Fall Transfer Thread

You should calm down, guys. You have survived the second wave of rejections.

11 rejections, damn

Let’s pray that next week is more acceptances?..

Rejected.
Good luck to everyone else!

@1939er Yeah, that’s what it says for everyone before their decision is ready.

Yes. That’s pretty much where everyone that hasn’t got a decision is at right now. No pin just means no decision yet

Makes me soo nervous :open_mouth: Hopefully, my decision will come out next tuesday!

Got accepted today! Here are stats for reference.

Entering as: Sophomore
Major: Applied Economics and Management
College GPA: 4.0
Waiting: UPENN, UChicago, Northwestern

Transferring from a mid-40 university

Well I don’t know what to think now. Rejections except for the one person in my major, AEM. I have a 3.97 from a top-40ish school. National Merit Scholar, 2200 SAT, 25ish AP credits (Cornell’s standards). Seem very similar to @charlie1996. Hoping for the best.

After today’s results, I think you should be cautiously optimistic @villuhfc

Any other cas kids waiting to hear back???

@YonceKnowles I applied to CAS and still am waiting. No pin

I was officially accepted to ILR today (9:55am). I heard from Ian last week (international student).

I’m CAS, no pin, I’ve tried to reset it but nothing has been found. Patiently waiting for the next 16 or so days.

no pin, no transeval either. maybe they’re just hoping i’ll forget that i applied.

also, i’m reading about the program i applied to and it’s more awesome than i remember it being… praying to the college admission gods.

I swear my grades would be so much better if it wasn’t for this thread. Love y’all tho

Applied to ILR and haven’t heard back from anyone at all. Slowly losing hope. At this point, I just want to know…even if it’s a rejection!

Interesting stats I found today:

When Can You Expect to Hear
If You’ve Been Accepted?
Cornell has a rolling notification policy for transfer
applicants. If you apply for Fall Semester admission, you
will hear between May and June. Pg 13.

I found those stats too but what I don’t like is how far back they are, transfer stats can change a lot in 3 years

@jtranxferman For sure, but these are the most recent I could find from Cornell (not counting the common data set).
