Where are you from? What program have you applied for, confident about your chances? Is CU your top choice?

Phoenix,AZ ( internationall applicant frm india accdg to app though ); Computer engineering; not very confident ( almost nil); yes with northwestern

Indian ethnicity, Norwegian PR (15 years there), applying from Korea. Computer Science in CAS. I consider cornell a match-reach school…more of reach considering a lower acceptance rate this year. CU is not my top choice…no. 2 actually after my beloved Princeton :p

Hey! I’m from Kuwait and I’ve applied for Linguistics. I’m not at all confident about my chances after my horrendous mid-year grades. It’s my second choice (U. of Chicago being the first).

The campus is absolutely delicious. One of the main reasons why I applied. I would rather be at a university surrounded by mountains as opposed to by skyscrapers.

callthecops: really? what’s the acceptance rate this year? I thought the rate had plummeted, as at Dartmouth (10% decline in the rate over there!)

CANADA, applied for CAS
CU is my second choice

India-applied for electrical engg-not a topmost choice

Not confident abt chances-as cornell said they give aid to only 10-15 international students, and i applied for a lot of it.

akash you applied to Cornell?? Why why why?? why couldnt you just apply to harvard princeton and Upenn??? :(

South Korea - Applied for ILR (industrial and labor relations) (i know i’m kinda unique)

CU is my first Choice (I applied ED)…

geary86, may I know your stats? I’d be interested to know, since you were accepted…and applied ED.

Serbia-College of engineering, and yes Cornell is my first choice even though i am applying to HYP

applied to comp E frm india if i get in it will be a miracle although cornelll is not my first choice

Polish, living in usa but applying as int’l, CU is not first choice (go go MIT)
