I got accepted!!! I’m so excited!!! College of Arts and Sciences Class of 2020!!!
Guys I’m honestly still shaking. I opened my email at work and my boss came in the back to check on me because she heard me sobbing with my friend :)) Thank you to everyone in this thread that kept me sane!!!
I feel like it’s all in the essay. I got a 27 on my ACT after 3 tries and still was accepted to CAS, granted my gpa is a 100.04% and I’m the student body president, which definitely helped. But the strongest part of my app was the essays.
I got in! Cornell College of Arts & Sciences. Philosophy major.
My son got in ED
A and S
Econ major
34 ACT
Unbelievably amazing ECs
With numerous state level placement
National merit scholar semi finalist
Amazing essays
Amazing letters of recommendation
I think he could have gone to HPY
But he loves Cornell
It seems like so many people got into ED. And so many people got deferred , and so many people got rejected.
