On my financial to do list, it says that I need to submit a 2015 federal income tax return through IDOC. Where do you get your IDOC id?
@OMGDEVICE yeah I just did it… if you don’t have any income, just follow the link to the page and fill that form out and send it in via fax or their FA file upload website
do you guys think that they look at your financial aid only if you’re admitted? or do they look at everyone’s?
@OMGDEVICE yes submit that asap
@senioritis07, they supposedly look at everyone’s FA, since the departments (admissions and FA) are separate. Then, they can have the FA package available once you’re accepted. The FA offer comes just days after the acceptance.
@senioritis07 I just wanted to throw in my opinion of the interview from what my interviewer told me. He said it was to get a personal feel of the applicant but it was still an evaluation to a certain extent. He said it was meant to see if you were personable and actually interested in the college and understood your decision to apply ED. I hope this clears up your confusion about the interviews.
@senioritis07 May I ask what form? or could you PM me the link please. Thanks a bunch!
Also, do I need to fill out the financial aid application certification?
The prompt to send my tax information was in the “financial aid to do list” section of applicant portal.
Both of mine say “initiated”
what file do i need to send
Is there any place where I can find information about the people who are APPLYING to Cornell Early Decision (i.e., average SAT, GPA, etc.?)
@Emooly You mean this application pool as in our stats? Lol good luck finding people to give that info out but some people posted chance me threads if you want them that bad.
@OMGDEVICE Which files to you have?
I’ve seen that other schools have confirmed acceptance decisions will be announced December 10. Does anyone know for sure when CAS decisions will be posted? Will they email my decision or post it to my portal?
@yessirrr pretty sure all schools are releasing it dec 10, they’ll send you an email a few days before decisions are released to a link to a separate decision portal
@OMGDEVICE here’s the file you need to submit if you don’t have any income http://finaid.cornell.edu/sites/finaid.cornell.edu/files/NonFile%20Student%202014%20Early%20Dec.pdf
Did Cornell contact you guys personally to fill out that form or did you just notice it in your Financial Aid To Do List?
Thanks!!
@NICE8x I noticed it said initiated on my to do list so I sent it and then I had no to do items
