Cornell Class of 2020 Early Decision Discussion

edit: nvm

Let the longest week of my life begin :slight_smile:

I’ll just go out in the snow and forget about this. Hopefully.

Is anyone willing to share/post what the person said on YikYak?

The YikYak post:

‘‘I JUST GOT INTO CORNELL!!! CU C/O 2020’’
‘‘I go to Ithaca high school and live in fall creek’’

@seniorlife555
at least you have snow…
All I get is to watch the El Nino dump rain on us :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh my, that’s interesting!
Especially if your username is @MarvinTheSnowCat haha

What’s the acceptance rate ED?

cornell ain’t a questbridge school i know this because i’m a qb finalist and i purposefully chose not to do the early qb option just to apply ED to cornell omg. if cornell has secretly been a qb school i’m literally going to faint

@crossovercuber I guess it’s just advertisement tho. It asks me to register to learn more about cornell. Just wondering why it shows up at this time lol.

Class of 2019: 4560 applied, 1196 admitted, 26.22% acceptance

I looked on the QuestBridge website and Cornell does not appear to be a QB school. I wonder how/why that student on YikYak has already been notified.

Is it possible that the ED rate decreased for class of 2020?

Maybe that person was a t r o l l? Let’s just hope they were lying, so we don’t stress out more than we already are :slight_smile:

Cornell: stressing out their students even before they’re accepted.

@seniorlife555
I love snow. Wasn’t my choice to live in the Mid-Atlantic¯_(ツ)_/¯
There are some good years, like the back to back snomageddon blizzards.
And then there are the years where Atlanta gets more snow than me

Class of 2019: 4560 applied, 1196 admitted, admit rate: 26%
Still working on finding older data

So I don’t think it’ll drop too much if any?

@MarvinTheSnowCat Thanks!
