Is a waitlist better than getting a Transfer Option? Or is a Transfer option Better?

GUYS I need some help. I got the transfer option from the ILR School, but it specifically states that its “not guaranteed.” Does this mean I’m in if I meet the requirements, and do anyone know the usual requirements for ILR TOs (I couldn’t find them). Also I couldn’t find any response forms to the transfer option, but they said they would reach out later with additional info. Thanks for the help

D accepted to bioengineering at Cornell. Feeling grateful!

To all future applicants reading this thread
portal astrology doesn’t work! All signs pointed to rejection. No IDOC requests, FA portal said processing, she didn’t even get the email that told all applicants when decisions would come out (it wasn’t in spam either). We thought we were cooked! But don’t lose hope!

DD accepted CHE!!!

The astrology works for some schools. But probably only a small fraction.

Thank God, I dont have this problem

Similiar question, since a Waitlist could end with Admittance, TO or rejection

Hi guys!! I got into cornell, columbia and nyu!! Feeling extremely overwhelmed right now.

A friend’s daughter got (guaranteed(?)) TO from CHE two years ago. She transferred into CHE with no issue last year.

For which school/major? My D24 was also waitlisted, for AAP’s B.Arch. program (stats posted earlier). Her available choices include other top-ranked B.Arch. programs at CMU, Syracuse, Tulane, Jefferson, and etc., but Cornell B.Arch. is the nation’s #1 program and her top choice.
