Cornell Class of 2029 Official Thread

Assumptions:

  • Filled list with Processing → This likely means that the application is still under review or has been decided but not yet communicated. Since it’s mixed, it could correlate with either acceptance or waitlist.
  • Empty list with a Parameter Error → This could indicate an issue retrieving the decision or that it hasn’t been finalized yet. Given that it’s mixed, it might also correlate with waitlist or rejection.
  • No list at all with a “No to do information found” message → Since this case seems to correlate with acceptances among those who applied for financial aid, it could suggest that the system has cleared to-do items because the applicant has been admitted.

No clue. If you are full pay I would have expected you to have Case 3 since you didn’t submit any documents

I think maybe something went wrong with how they processed your information? I saw on the Dartmouth thread you were also getting the message that FA applicants usually got, so maybe somehow they interpreted you as FA applicant on accident

Oh yes maybe, because I submitted FAFSA and CSS but clicked no to aid because I didn’t qualify lol. My parents submitted the FAFSA way back in december as its required by my school, I didn’t have control over that. Is it over for me?

is the “processing” case for when you click “go” and see documents with processing status?

Yes

I would say processing and empty list w/ parameter error could be any of the 3 decisions. There is not a clear correlation for those

Definitely don’t think its over, Idk how you would fit into either scenario bc they can’t make a package for you since you didn’t apply for FA but they still have to process your documents lol

Yeah, same thing happened with Georgetown/USC, but I got in. Idk what will happen this time. I think my parents just saw the missing finaid and submitted it lol, but I said I didn’t want aid.. Contradictory right

Is fin aid separate from admissions? So they won’t reject me based on this, right?

  1. Congrats!
  2. This is interesting.. My school requires FAFSA for citizens, regardless of intent to apply.

They won’t.

yeah i honestly don’t think this matters much bc its separate and I think if the astrology works, it’ll only work for FA applicants

Exactly. It is still interesting to note that those who did not apply for FA still have different cases

Oh, the memories from Early February UCB. I checked the astrology on the 6th, which said I got rejected. Then, I got early admission. Astrology really is something.

Same lol. It said I got admitted tho, and I also got in.

Same for me. The withdraw button was there earlier today, but is gone now.

:confounded_face::confounded_face: going through this, ucb astrology says im rejected…. trying to tell myself i didnt like the school anyway!

Don’t worry, there isn’t even 100 hours left!

And being honest, after visiting overnight for a regents program, I am a bit disgusted with the school… If I don’t end up with the scholarship, UCLA or CMU (OR MAYBE AN IVY YOU NEVER KNOW) is going to be my pick :stuck_out_tongue:
