Cornell Class of 2029 Official Thread

I was able to log into all three of the admitted student links and could see my financial aid info last night. I also got a request for very specific financial info last night and was admitted into the college of ecology.

so is waitlist engineering a no?

That’s awesome! Do you know what the requirements are?

Got accepted! I didn’t try any of the portal astrology because I wanted to protect my peace.

Is there a WL thread yet?

I was going to submit the waitlist reply form right away since it seemed like it was a simple yes/no option. However, once I clicked yes, the form said you could submit updated materials here (with an option to upload files). This is different from what I expected - I thought you upload the materials later as supplemental. Does anyone know if the process changed? Or if I can still submit the supplemental materials later after submitting the form first?

Each college/school within Cornell that offers a TO will set their own requirements.

You can find all the information here:

And I am full pay, and I had the no current to do items, and I got the maps on the portal astrology earlier today with last year tours that indicated admission.
GPA 4.0, 4.95 Weighted. 21 AP/IB and full IB diploma, 1580 SAT, math major, varsity sports and EC with impact

Check out math 2230

You will get an email which explains the requirements. You enroll and make sure your student gets the grades and takes the courses and then you apply when the TO transfer application opens up. It’s not a guarantee but it’s pretty likely. If you have questions about the class that is required contact Cornell. When my daughter did, they never got back to her. She enrolled at another college and decided to not apply/transfer. The great thing is that you do not pay a fee to apply and no essays or letters. Update your resume and complete the form. Also if you do get in, you aren’t committed. My suggestion is that your student goes to a school that he or she would like to attend, and if she wants to try to transfer and go for it, but if she decides to stay at her present school, she can do that as well.

D24 received TO. Also got into Berkeley. She decided not to transfer. Likes Berkeley and it’s a better program and much cheaper.

Edit- Berkeley is a better program for her since it is less specialized as compared to SHA which is THE best hospitality program in the world.

D24 decided not to TO to SHA. Good luck to your D24!

I got a transfer option for CALS! I am super happy about it but Im confused on how it works and I am wondering when Cornell will email me with more details.

Congratulations. Scroll up 10 posts and tap on the link for Cornell Transfer Options. You’ll see the requirements for CALS.

In the meantime, figure out which school you will commit to for your freshman year. Choose a school where you think you will be happy and do well. Then in an about a year, you can decide if you want to apply for the transfer option to Cornell. Good luck.

Thank you! And good luck to your kid. I’m glad she’s enjoying Berkeley. In the end, everyone lands where they’re supposed to be.
