Is anyone planning on attending one of the admitted students days? My daughter hasn’t committed yet, still between 2-3 schools, so we will be heading up on the 13th. Anyone else?
I am not sure if there has been one already, but i you have attended, any feedback. She registered for 3 sessions, CAS, Student Panel and Campus tour, which were her only options, but wasn’t sure what else was going on that day.
Should it be this short? Mine is around 800 words (around 2 pages) and i talk about what ive done since then and why the school (in my case the school of Public Policy) still interests me. Should i shorten it?

Hi! I was wondering if Cornell allows waitlisted applicants to submit updated grades in the form of a screenshot, provided that the school counselor uploads it on their behalf? My current quarter 3 grades are incomplete (our school used semester system) and only reflect about half of the courses I’m taking.
Applied ED and deferred, then waitlisted for COE. Ugh… 1st at competitive private HS, UW4.27/W4.98, ACT 36, NMF, 11 APs (14 exams), high rigor (MVC, OChem). 4 year varsity & club athlete, robotics leadership, extensive volunteering. No major national awards. Thankfully has other good choices (CMU, MIT) and not sure will accept waitlist.
Hi sorry if this is a dumb question, but I heard that admitted students get a Tshirt - how does this occur?
My DS25 was ED and there was a link in his portal about getting the tee shirt. Have him check that.
My daughter filled something out on her portal so they knew what size to send.

Have you committed to Cornell? You’ll get your Net ID after you send in your deposit.
yeah I did. It has been almost 2 weeks since I committed. The portal said the net id will be sent out within one week
Maybe verify your deposit has been received. If it has, you can call and ask about your NetID.

I’m assuming you’ve checked Spam just in case? My DS was ED but he received his NelNet ID right after the RD decisions were released so they should have sent you something after you committed.

Does anyone know the process for freshman housing? Specifically, can a person apply for more than one “Program House” with ranking? It’s unclear from the general information. DS has not committed for sure yet.
He can list multiple Program Houses on his housing preferences form. If he doesn’t get one of the Program Houses, he wil be randomly placed in any of the North Campus freshman dorms.
