@LettuceBeBananas Maybe thats because AAP is really subjective and the only way they can judge an applicant is probably by comparison.
@sargamprakash that’s true! hopefully all of us get in with RD and form a deferred squad LOL
lol I thought I was special for getting deferred, but then I realized a ton of you guys got deferred. Does anyone know the stats for people getting deferred? What about deferred who get accepted? What about legacies who get deferred who then get accepted?
Hey everyone! My best friend just got accepted and I’m so happy for her, I’d like to congratulate anyone who got accepted, you all worked hard and it’s paying off 
For those who got rejected, never forget that you’re still a wonderfully strong, smart and talented person, and that this is only the beginning of something great no matter where you end up, and one letter doesn’t erase all your amazing accomplishments
My friend said posting her stats was okay, if anyone is wondering she is an IB student, 4.0 GPA, her ACT composite was 30. She figure skates, is part of Amnesty Club, National Honor Society, and GSA. That’s about it for her ECs, and she says her letters of recc were pretty good
Just wanted to say congrats to everyone, even if rejected- you still worked hard and did amazing things that merits congratulations anyways
Did anyone get accepted to hotel school? I got deferred and can’t help but feel disappointed…

Second of all for those who are rejected/deferred, we are with you. I will work to make Cornell regret for the decision.
Seems like all Arch applicants here are deferred…Anyone got accepted to Arch in AAP? Can we do a headcount of all those who are deferred to AAP?

But I guess that makes sense since portfolios can improve so much over a few months
