yes some were rejected
I only know because I read through this thread.
TO students were accepted today and non TOs were rejected. So for us non TOs that didn’t heat back that is a good sign, but rejections do come every wave.
@IndirectProofs omg its you! I remember when we applied to Dartmouth last year! Hope you’ve been well! and thanks, me too! I also really doubt that I even have any chance at getting into Cornell, but I mean who knows. I can only hope for the best, and ill pray for you too!
It would certainly be a surprise to be accepted, because I plan on staying another year in community college. If im accepted to Cornell, that would change everything!
@kb199977 It is so good to hear from you again! I noticed we are also both applying to Princeton!
I have been doing well. This last year has been very profitable for me as far as submitting math papers, and getting more math solutions accepted. I also got my math story published on a math website.
I agree it would be a surprise to be accepted! Fingers crossed for both of us!
Alrighty, wait is better than a rejection friends. Non-GT CALS here for Info Sci and don’t even have some of the junior requirements completed yet and they did not reject me today.
Especially happy for @IndirectProofs not being rejected. Hopefully acceptances to us all at the next wave.
Those rejected, I’m sure you already heard it but keep ya head up.
@Snekfest You are so kind! I don’t know why but I’m feeling really good about Cornell, of course I could be wrong and get rejected, but for some reason I feel positive. You are right, next wave I hope we get our acceptances!
any non-GT SHA applicants get rejected today?
Non-TO here! Glad I didn’t hear anything today, that’s a relief.
I wonder when we hear back ?
Which school/major did you apply to?
Accepted- ILR TO
I will be a mathematics major if I get accepted to CAS.
My back up school’s deposit is due on May 1st. Can I give the deposit to my back up school and still go to Cornell if I happen to be accepted?
Also accepted ILR today
@Optimistic_22 I know some people did that in the past and their deposit was not refunded.
Good luck! I’ll be rooting for you. Not having a decision today is a good sign for you.
@OwlOfAthena Thank you! That really means a lot! I pretty much went into it knowing that I worked my butt off this past year. I’m sure everyone has on here! I am rooting for all of you!
okay so fun fact: I have a very different background than most people do in mathematics. I’ve always felt sort of left out, so I always say I’m the Rudolph the red nosed reindeer of math, but since I’m a girl, I use the girl deer from Rudolph!
CE (CS major) - rejection.
Did any College of Engineering applicants get accepted today?
I was told by their transfer coordinator that CS has a 1% transfer acceptance rate–a very special program for very special folks. It’s harder to get into than MIT freshman admissions.
