@parkcentral If my High School transcript arrived only last Monday (they lost it themselves so my hs had to send a second copy), would you say that significantly hinders my chances?
They told me that “it should be no problem if it arrives before the 26th” do you think today is some important day for the process or smth?
@parkcentral - So is my original point still somewhat valid with the exception that the first round “filter” is done by hand, rather than by computer?
If you don’t feel like looking back a few pages in the thread (I wouldn’t lol), the original point I was trying to get at was that these first round rejections wouldn’t be coming out through June, and that they would come out in the first few weeks because it is quicker to get them done.
Regardless, I really appreciate you explaining how the admissions process ACTUALLY works lol. I never did much research on it myself.
Does anyone know if there were any acceptances without their transfer transcript being changed from initiated to ordered before their decision was out?
Is the pin trick working for any non TOs? I submitted an additional document last night to strengthen some flaws I already know they’ll pick at, and I wanted to see if any TOs know that their decision is at least made through the pin trick. My transcript still says “initiated”
People’s financial aid to do lists changed to ordered kind of sporadically. It has been the case that people were accepted but still initiated (it changed to ordered overnight without them knowing). Getting “ordered” is pretty much guaranteed acceptance, I don’t think anyone with “ordered” is ever rejected.
I emailed admissions and they said that decisions will continue to be released on a rolling basis until June 4th (approximately). That is so far away lol
@sjtfire I noticed one person on this thread who said they were on ordered but then got rejected. Makes me wonder if the initiated to ordered change is really all that definitive a sign of acceptance…
(This isn’t to say that it shouldn’t be taken as a good sign if yours switches. You should definitely be happy that yours switched! I’m sure it is a good sign based on patterns. Just pointing out that it’s not 100% since you asked)
