Rejected Non-TO CAS. Transfer transcript remained on initiated.
I am a non TO CAS applicant math major still waiting for a decision. I tried not to get my hopes up, but they are definitely up. I even keep having dreams that I’m accepted.
Non-TO, haven’t received anything.

@zhengfangchen I’m sure there’s a reason Cornell hasn’t taken him. I’m not trying to say I’m supporting his rejection; I always believe if a school rejects someone, there’s a good reason. No matter the applicant, Ivy League admissions would not make a mistake when determining whether an applicant is fit for Cornell. However, everyone has their own gifts and talents, so I’m sure your son will do well no matter where he goes. No one should base their degree of success solely because of one title institution. Everyone here has great potential no matter the result they get from Cornell! We just need to have more optimism outside of Cornell because anything is possible and success is probable anywhere one goes.
Stats highlights for your reference: currently in a decent institute of tech/school of computing, straight As, GPA 4.0 both 1st semester and midterm report; ACT 35 both math and English (composite 34), research assistant for CS AI project, accepted to top telecom company 2019 summer intern on VR project; Game Design skills and porfolio, guitar player, swimming varsity team, fund raise captain for American Cancer Society in the past 5 years. Reject is normal, many other more excellent candidates were rejected. My best wishes to all who is getting decision today.
@oceansquare It is a good thing for me, but ONLY because I just submitted some supplemental materials and I was hoping that I wouldn’t get a decision before they can actually review them.
non TO ILR rejected today at 10 am transcript said initiated and pin trick worked

NON-TO rejection to CAS. Stats here: top public school. gpa:3.8+ act:34 really bad essays though lol
