Hey everyone! I am a non-to applying to the ILR school. Im not sure if I am overthinking this email but Cornell financial aid emailed requesting additional documents and said in the email: “the following is a list of documents needed to determine your eligibility for aid.” Is this a sign of anything regarding admission or do they do this with everyone?? The only reason I think this is because another school sent me the same kind of email and admitted me days later. Then my next thought is would they be requesting additional FA docs this late from someone who they’re not looking to admit?

Thank you and best of luck to every single one of you!!!

Hi everyone! The financial aid button at my portal has disappeared. Also, I get a “waitlist correspondence” option when I click the file uploading tab. Does this mean I will get my result most likely as waitlisted the coming Tuesday? Does anybody else also have this file uploading option?

Yes, the screenshot below this message checks out for me as well!

@gorillaglue1 how did you get the drop down option on the portal? I don’t see it

I selected the “Access Your Financial Aid Status Page” button through this link

Did anyone else recently get an email from financial aid saying they will continue to review my financial aid (nothings in my portal except the go button) telling u to monitor ur financial aid to do list and that if I have any questions to reach out by phone or by email with my student id???

hey! I didn’t receive that, but I did get an email yesterday of the FA office asking for additional documents so they can determine my eligibility for aid. I am curious of this means something with admissions since this is so close to decision release date? I would assume they wouldn’t be asking for additional documents from everyone.

What was the status of your documents before?

When you submit ur fafsa/css?

This sounds very promising to me! Even though admissions and financial aid are distinct decisions, once a person is admitted I would imagine they need to make sure their financial aid information is ready to process. Good luck

I submitted either in January or February

CALS will be officially sending out decision letters on April 22nd.

If you don’t hear back on April 22nd, don’t worry, admissions decisions often come in waves. Most of my friends received theirs in early May.

Good luck to all applicants! Hope to see you on campus!"

Hi! I was wondering when the ILR will release their decisions. Do you possibly have any ideas?

I believe it would also be the 22nd, but that date is not official from the office. I will go confirm when I have time.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your help!
